Financial Literacy Workshops

Trust Yourself. You Can Do This.

Wise Women Prosper is a community of women who are here to support, educate, and empower ourselves and by extension our families and our community with practical knowledge and tools around finances.

We know that learning about finances can be intimidating. That’s why we created this space: a safe place where you can ask questions without judgment.

We understand that some of us are farther along than others, but we don’t judge each other for where we are in our financial journeys. We all just want to support each other as we grow, learn, and prosper together.

Prosperity is not just about money. It’s about feeling good about yourself, your life, and the people around you.

We hope you’ll be able to find something useful with us that will help you along in your financial journey.

About

Veronica Aguilera

Veronica Aguilera is a Wealth Advisor with more than 15 years of experience in the male-dominated field of financial management.

Over the years she heard from many women who told her they liked speaking to her, because the financial advisors they normally worked with, who were typically chosen by their husbands, talked past them and did not ask for their input. They were made to feel like their valuable contributions were not required. Over time, some women felt that they just weren’t ‘smart enough’ about money. Veronica thought “I have to do something about this.”

In 2021 Veronica founded Wise Women Prosper, a financial literacy group where women could gain confidence around financial topics and discover that they are so much smarter than they might have previously thought about money matters. In fact Veronica delights in citing studies that show women actually have better results at investing than men for example!

But the group has grown into so much more than just a place to learn about financial topics. It has become a community, where women meet each other outside the group because they found they have common interests.

Veronica was born in Nigeria, grew up in England, spent several years in Los Angeles and moved to Prescott over 20 years ago. She met her husband Hank in Prescott and together they are raising their two children here. She enjoys the many outdoor activities the area offers such as hiking, geocaching and kayaking.
